AUSTIN – Governor–elect Greg Abbott today hosted a roundtable in San Antonio to discuss with area legislators his priorities for the upcoming legislative session. Governor-elect Abbott spoke to the importance of improving education, securing our border, keeping Texas number one for job creation and restraining the growth of government.
“Now more than ever it is time for Texans to unite to achieve these goals,” Governor-elect Abbott said. “Because as Texas goes, so goes America. As public servants we will never forget who we work for and the greater purpose we serve. I look forward to working with my new partners in the legislature to ensure an even better future for the state of Texas.”
