Vice President Pence Visits Corpus Christi
Vice President Mike Pence visited the Corpus Christi area, the location of Harvey’s initial landfall, in the week following the storm. Pence joined Governor Abbott in Rockport, visiting locations badly damaged by Harvey’s wind and rain and meeting with hurricane victims. He also rolled up his sleeves and pulled on work gloves to help local people affected by the storm to clear debris from their homes and yards.
