Governor Greg Abbott is fighting the overreaching federal government again! The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Air Planning Section has proposed a “regional haze” rule, and is unlawfully attempting to force Texas to comply with a federal plan, instead of an already-developed state plan. This would impose a cost of $2 billion on Texas taxpayers!
Governor Abbott has called the results of EPA’s rules “absurd, arbitrary, capricious, and contrary to law.”
