Governor Abbott Paige Unity Drives Victory

Governor Abbott — and his five-ton friend — call on the delegates representing millions of Republicans across the state to unite to keep Texas red.

This is a pivotal moment — not only for the future of the Republican Party but for the Texas of tomorrow. Socialist Democrats are knocking at the door, preaching visions of a reformed Texas powered by wokism; deadly open borders, boys in girls’ sports, DEI in the classroom, higher taxes, and crippling regulations that look a lot like the policies corroding Zohran Mamdani’s New York.

In Texas, Republican delegates and supporters from every corner of the state are uniting ahead of the fast-approaching November midterm elections to crush the Democrats’ dream of a blue Texas, and to keep the Lone Star State, the economic engine of the nation, thriving.

Thousands of Republican voters gathered last week at the 2026 Texas State Republican Convention in Houston. Bedazzled to the nines in custom cowboy hats and red, white, and blue sequin jackets, delegates representing millions of Republicans convened to set the commonsense legislative priorities that will guide the state Republican party for the next two years. Their message to the rest of the nation rang clear: “Don’t Mamdani my Texas.”

Governor Greg Abbott headlined the convention on Friday, June 12. He called on delegates to reject the socialist Democrats’ woke agenda and turn out every Republican voter this November:

“The people essential to ensuring that Bernie Sanders socialism never hijacks Texas are the patriots I’m looking at right now. When Republicans unite, we are unbeatable. That unity is needed now more than ever. That unity will drive victory in November.”

Immediately following his remarks, a special — oversized — guest ambled around the ballroom and later made her way to the exhibit hall to greet attendees: Paige, the five-ton African elephant. Her message to the delegates, most certainly, was that of Governor Abbott: “Keep Texas, Texas!”
