BETO FOR GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK

With his campaign flailing in Texas, extreme liberal Beto O’Rourke had to travel to New York City and appear on ‘The View’ and ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ to find supporters for his liberal policies. It’s clear Beto is a far better fit running for governor of New York than Texas.

Yesterday in New York O’Rourke Said “When We Lift Title 42… We Are Going To Be Safer.” O’ROURKE: “When we lift Title 42, and we can process and, where appropriate detain people, especially those that pose a danger to us, we are going to be safer.” (ABC’s “The View,” 5/10/22)

  • FLASHBACK: O’Rourke Wants To Curtail Immigration Enforcement, “All But Eliminating Immigration Detention,” And Grant Citizenship To Illegal Immigrants Currently In The U.S. “O’Rourke’s plan focuses on curtailing immigration enforcement — in particular, all but eliminating immigration detention — and focusing instead on building up immigration courts and case management systems for newly arriving asylum seekers, while returning Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests and deportations of immigrants already living in the US to the constraints of President Barack Obama’s last years in office. … But beyond the now-standard Democratic promise to pass a bill that allows the 11 million unauthorized immigrants currently in the US to apply for legal status and ultimately citizenship, and to expedite legalization and citizenship for DACA recipients and TPS recipients, there isn’t a complete bill framework here.” (Dara Lind, “Beto O’Rourke’s Immigration Plan Would Go Even Further On Executive Power Than Trump,” Vox, 5/31/19)

Yesterday in New York O’Rourke Refused To Say He Supported Any Restrictions On Abortion. “Former Democratic presidential candidate and current Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke refused to answer questions as to whether he supports any limitations on abortion after being asked by The View’s guest host Alyssa Farah multiple times Tuesday.” (Julia Johnson, “WATCH: Beto Avoids Voicing Support For Any Abortion Restriction, Says, ‘I Trust Women’,” Washington Examiner, 5/10/22)

  • FLASHBACK: In 2019 O’Rourke Said He Trusted A Woman’s Choice Should She Ask For A Third-Trimester Abortion. “Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke said he believed abortion should be a woman’s decision after he was asked about third-trimester abortions at a Monday campaign event in Cleveland. … O’Rourke told the crowd: ‘So, the question is about abortion and reproductive rights. And my answer to you is that that should be a decision that the woman makes.’ At that, the crowd broke out in a cheer, as O’Rourke said: ‘I trust her.’” (Chantal Da Silva, “Beto O’Rourke On Third-Trimester Abortion: ‘That Should Be A Decision That The Woman Makes…I Trust Her’,” Newsweek, 3/19/19)
  • FLASHBACK: In 2019 O’Rourke Said He Would Have Voted Against Born-Alive Legislation. SALVI TWEET: “Democrat 2020 hopeful Beto O’Rourke says he would have voted against a GOP Senate bill that would have required doctors to provide medical care to babies who are born alive following an abortion.” (Twitter.com, 3/20/19)
