ANDREWS – Governor Greg Abbott today energized grassroots conservatives during his statewide ‘Let’s Roll’ GOTV tour, urging Texans to turn out early to keep Texas the safest, strongest, and most prosperous state in the nation.
“We’re crisscrossing the state to ensure Texans turn out in force to keep Texas red for four more years,” said Governor Abbott. “We are at a turning point where Texans must decide whether we continue on a path of freedom and law and order, or allow socialist policies to take root in our cities and counties. I refuse to let radical judges turn violent criminals loose or let any city defund the brave men and women who wear the badge. That’s why we’ve taken action to back the blue and keep dangerous criminals behind bars. It is up to us to turn out and ensure Texas remains the beacon of opportunity and law and order it was built to be for years to come.”
Governor Abbott began the day in Adkins, where he highlighted his five-point Property Tax Reform Plan to rein in runaway local spending and put Texas homeowners back in control. He underscored the conservative principles that keep Texas exceptional: securing the border, backing the blue, growing a booming economy, unleashing American energy, and defending individual liberty. In Andrews, the Governor met with local supporters, elected officials, and candidates to discuss the strength of Texas’ energy industry and the critical role it plays in powering our state and nation. Governor Abbott reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to protecting energy jobs and ensuring communities across the Permian Basin continue to thrive.
