HARLINGEN – Governor Greg Abbott today boosted support for Republican candidates before Election Day during a “Let’s Roll” Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) stop. The Governor encouraged supporters and activists to vote for strong conservative candidates up and down the ballot to keep Texas, Texas.

“We have proven in Texas that when the right leadership is in place, Texas thrives,” said Governor Abbott. “But we cannot take that for granted. There are activists and liberal politicians who want to turn Texas into a California-style state with more government, more regulation, and less freedom. That is not who we are. If you want lower taxes, safer communities, secure borders, and more opportunity for your family, you must get out and vote. When Texans show up, we keep Texas strong and free, and together we will keep Texas red.”

During the stop, Governor Abbott underscored his record to secure the border, back the blue, and keep Texas the nation’s economic powerhouse. He also outlined his five-point plan to rein in property taxes by putting limits on local government spending and ensuring meaningful, long-term relief for Texas homeowners.
