Releases New Ad Titled: “What’s at Stake”
AUSTIN—Governor Greg Abbott today launched a $10 million statewide television ad that underscores Governor Abbott’s commitment to defend the commonsense values that make Texas a beacon of freedom and opportunity for all. While Democrats push socialist policies that increase taxes and the cost of living, Governor Abbott has diligently worked to keep Texas among the most affordable large states in the nation, deliver lasting property tax reforms for Texans and job creators, secure the southern border, protect the integrity of girls’ sports, and ensure criminals stay behind bars.
“The contrast couldn’t be clearer: Governor Abbott has made it his mission to keep more money in Texans’ pockets, safeguard Texans, and defend the values that make Texas exceptional,” said Texans for Greg Abbott Campaign Manager Kim Snyder. “Meanwhile, Democrats continue to push radical socialist ideas that are no more than half-baked promises to families searching for real relief. A socialist Democrat-run Texas would prioritize illegal immigrants over law-abiding citizens, prosecute parents who oppose their child’s gender-altering surgery, turn law enforcement into political targets, hike up taxes for all, and put men in women’s sports. Under Governor Abbott’s leadership, Texas remains a bastion against the radical Democrats knocking at the door.”
