GENDER BENDER GINA: TRANS-ING YOUR KIDS FOR THE “SOCIALIST GOOD”
AUSTIN – As the most progressive liberal in the Texas Legislature, Gina Hinojosa repeatedly put the socialist left’s radical gender agenda ahead of the health and wellbeing of impressionable young children.

Gina Hinojosa rejects the idea that any insurer who previously covered sex changes for children should be required to cover any adverse consequences.
- In 2025, Hinojosa voted against guaranteeing insurance coverage for young Texans who received gender transition surgeries and who need follow-up care or want a gender reversal procedure. (SB 1257, 89R)
That’s not all. Gina Hinojosa voted in favor of taxpayer dollars funding sex-change surgeries for kids.
- In 2023, Hinojosa voted against protecting children from dangerous, experimental, and life-changing medical decisions. (SB 14, 88R)
She even wants schools to socially transition kids without parents being informed about it – and green-lit the state separating kids from parents who allegedly “misgender” their child.
- In 2025, Hinojosa voted to allow for parents to be prosecuted for child abuse and have their child taken away if they refuse to affirm their child’s new gender identity. (HB 1106, 89R)
- In 2025, Hinojosa voted to keep parents in the dark about schools shaping their child’s gender identity. (SB 12, 89R)
And the difference between a man and a woman? Gina Hinojosa can’t tell you.
- In 2025, Hinojosa rejected that there are only two sexes: male and female. (HB 229, 89R)
That’s why she supports boys in girls’ sports and voted to allow child predators the opportunity to invade the private spaces of young girls.
- In 2021, Hinojosa voted in favor of boys competing in girls’ sports in public schools. (HB 25, 87(3))
- In 2023, Hinojosa voted in favor of men competing against women in college sports. (SB 15, 88R)
- In 2025, Hinojosa voted in favor of men and women sharing the same bathroom. (SB 8, 89(2))
Over and over, Hinojosa sides with the progressive left in opposing parental rights, supporting sex-change surgeries for kids, and allowing boys in girls’ sports and men in women’s private spaces. Her values are fundamentally at odds with the values of Texas parents and families.
