AUSTIN – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Action – the political affiliate of the designated foreign terrorist organization CAIR – has chosen Gina Hinojosa as its preferred candidate for Texas Governor. According to the FBI, CAIR was founded as a “front group” for Hamas and “its support” network in America.

During her political career, Gina Hinojosa has repeatedly sided with radical extremists over the citizens she represents:
- Gina Hinojosa was one of only EIGHT members in the Texas House to support judges using Sharia law in Texas courts — a proposal directly supported by CAIR. (HB 45, 85R)
- When bad actors like EPIC City attempted to use religion as a form of segregation in Texas, Gina Hinojosa voted to ALLOW Sharia compounds to continue developing across Texas. (HB 4211, 89R)
- Hinojosa voted AGAINST the Texas law that allowed Governor Abbott to designate organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR as foreign terrorist organizations. (SB 1900, 88R)
