Governor Abbott Calls on Rio Grande Valley Republicans to Vote During ‘Let’s Roll’ Event in Harlingen

HARLINGEN – Governor Greg Abbott today brought his “Let’s Roll” Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) tour to Harlingen, stopping at SMOKE: Texas BBQ. The Governor was joined by Representative Janie Lopez.

“The stakes in this election couldn’t be higher,” said Governor Abbott. “Under my leadership, Texas has become the eighth-largest economy in the world, we have more Texans working than ever before in our state’s history, and we provided the Rio Grande Valley with its first Level I trauma center. There’s a reason why Gina Hinojosa isn’t running on her record. She supports open borders, higher taxes, and soft-on-crime policies that let dangerous criminals back onto the streets. It’s critical that Texans get their friends, family, and neighbors to vote Republican up and down the ballot to keep Texas, Texas.”
