Statement on Secretary Sebelius’ Visit to Texas

AUSTIN – Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott today issued the following statement on Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ visit to Texas to discuss the implementation of ObamaCare:

“Just yesterday, the Obama Administration granted hardship exemptions for some Americans whose health plans were canceled due to their coverage not meeting the mandates within ObamaCare. What Texans don’t want is another sales job from President Obama and Secretary Sebelius. Upon her visit today, I’d ask Secretary Sebelius to declare ObamaCare a hardship and exempt all Americans from this fiasco. This Administration should instead be focused on ending this broken program so that Americans can keep their coverage at a lower cost. ObamaCare is the wrong prescription for America and for Texas, and I will never stop fighting against it.”
