AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott tonight issued a statement following President Donald Trump’s victory in the Texas Republican primary:
“I want to congratulate President Trump on his victory in the Texas Republican primary,” said Governor Abbott. “Since taking office the president has gone above and beyond to follow through on his promises and has presided over an economy that is delivering greater opportunity and better paying jobs for the people of Texas. Whether it is appointing conservative judges, reining in regulations, or cutting taxes, President Trump has successfully fought to uphold the values that make America the greatest nation in the history of the world. I look forward to continuing to work with him and his administration to usher in an even brighter future for Texas and for the entire nation.”
