AUSTIN- Texans for Greg Abbott today launched the first in a series of web ads featuring Texans talking about how Greg Abbott is fighting to make Texas a better place to live, work and raise a family – in their own words.
The campaign will release videos throughout the month of August, each featuring a different Texan or group of Texans detailing how Greg Abbott is fighting for them.
The first video features Anne Osborne, a single mother who struggled to secure child support until she called Greg Abbott’s office and quickly received the help she and her child needed.
In a letter accompanying the video, Anne writes:
My story is like so many other single parents in Texas.
For years, I had to live with the daily red tape and bureaucracy of the county’s confusing child support process – alone…
…One day, someone suggested that I contact Greg Abbott’s office. That is when everything changed for us.
It took just one call.
“It has been my great privilege to help Texans like Anne throughout my career, and it is for them that I am running for governor,” said Greg Abbott in a statement. “I will continue to work every day to create a better future for all Texans.”
