“It’s unfortunate Beto O’Rourke continues to run a campaign based on fear mongering and tearing down Texas. The truth is, under Governor Greg Abbott’s leadership, Texas continues to be the economic engine of our country, creating more jobs than ever before. Concerning the border crisis, Beto O’Rourke today said the Texas National Guard is “a solution looking for a problem.” This shameful comment is a direct insult to the families of the more than one thousand Texans who have lost their lives from fentanyl coming across our southern border and the law enforcement officers who are putting their lives on the line every day protecting our communities.
