BETO’S VOTE TO PROTECT SEXUAL PREDATORS
HAS REAL CONSEQUENCES

“If Beto O’Rourke had his way, the illegal immigrant who was convicted of sexually exploiting a minor in McAllen wouldn’t be a top priority for deportation back to his home country. Beto O’Rourke should be ashamed of his vote in Congress to protect sexual predators.”
– Mark Miner, Communications Director

Yesterday It Was Reported A McAllen Soccer Coach Who Is An Illegal Immigrant Was Sentenced To 18 Years In Prison After Sexually-Exploiting The Minor. “A McAllen youth soccer coach on Friday was sentenced to federal prison after having a relationship with a 15-year-old girl on his team, the Department of Justice said. Officials said Hinojosa groomed the child while in a position of trust as her soccer coach. … He convinced the child to send him sexually explicit photos multiple times. … Hinojosa lacks legal status to reside in the United States. He will have a deportation hearing and will remain in custody pending that hearing.” (Taylor Pettaway, “McAllen Girls Soccer Coach Sent To Prison For Sexually Exploiting 15-Year-Old On Team,” San Antonio Express-News, 3/22/22)
