He won the debate in the Rio Grande Valley by showing his positive vision for Texas, the many successes he’s had as Governor, and the danger of Beto O’Rourke’s disastrous ideas. Governor Abbott outlined his support for law enforcement to keep our communities safe; declared that he’ll reduce property taxes; protect energy jobs; and secure our border so communities in the Rio Grande Valley are not overrun and overwhelmed. On November 8th, Texans from the RGV up to the Red River will re-elect Greg Abbott, ensuring that Texas stays the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
