Governor Greg Abbott today announced that his call to extend the Maternal Mortality Task Force is generating growing support across Texas. This legislation today passed the Senate on second reading, and will be up for a final vote tomorrow. Extending the Maternal Mortality Task Force is part of the Governor’s 20-item agenda for the ongoing special legislative session.
