AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today joined Representative Lacey Hull on the campaign trail to strengthen support for her re-election campaign to House District 138.

“I wanted to be in Jersey Village today to thank Representative Lacey Hull for everything she does for our great state,” said Governor Abbott. “Lacey has been a reliable partner in our historic border security efforts to keep Texans—and Americans—safe from President Biden’s reckless open border policies. I would not be able to secure our southern border if Lacey Hull did not have my back. I need Representative Lacey Hull back in Austin to help me keep Texas the great state in the greatest country in the history of the world.”

During the campaign stop, Governor Abbott highlighted Representative Hull’s crucial work in delivering vital conservative victories for her constituents in the Texas House, including unprecedented border security measures, providing the largest property tax cut in Texas history, and new laws that empower parents with more rights in their child’s education.
