AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott last night urged Texans to support Representative DeAyala for re-election to House District 133 at a campaign stop in Houston.

“Mano DeAyala is exactly who Texans in House District 133 need as their Representative at the Texas Capitol in Austin, and I am proud to be in Houston tonight to let everyone know that I am backing him for re-election,” said Governor Abbott. “By re-electing Mano, he will work with me to ensure our state’s historic budget surplus will continue to slash your property taxes even more. Mano will also help me put Texas on a pathway to being No. 1 in America for educating our kids. To keep Texas the best place to live, work, and raise a family, please join me in supporting Representative Mano DeAyala for re-election.”

During the campaign stop, Governor Abbott commended Representative DeAyala for his strong work to deliver major conservative victories for his constituents as a freshman member of the Texas House, including the largest property tax cut in state history and putting parents back in charge of what their child learns in the classroom.
