AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today issued a statement congratulating Representative Morrison on her primary victory. The Governor also thanked Representative Morrison for her continued advocacy on behalf of the Coastal Bend.
“Representative Morrison has been a fierce fighter for the people of her district and all of the Coastal Bend and tonight’s victory is the result of her leadership,” said Governor Abbott. “Her work to secure funding and resources for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey was instrumental in helping the Gulf Coast recover.
