AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today held a Get Out The Vote event in Frisco alongside Representative Jared Patterson. The Governor thanked Representative Patterson for his work to rein in skyrocketing property taxes and reform our school finance system this past session, and encouraged the people of House District 106 to send Representative Patterson back to Austin so that he continue to defend Texas values.
“Representative Patterson played a crucial role in our fight to rein in property taxes and reform our broken school finance system, and the success of this session would not have been possible without him,” said Governor Abbott. “I urge the people of House District 106 to head to the polls and support Representative Patterson for re-election so he can continue to defend Texas values and secure an even brighter future for the Lone Star State.”
