Governor Abbott Endorses Angie Chen Button For Re-Election As State Representative

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today announced his support of Angie Chen Button for re-election as State Representative of House District 112. As a passionate advocate for the people of north Texas, Representative Button helped reform our school finance system, provide property tax relief, and tackle the backlog of untested rape kits. In a statement, Governor Abbott expressed his support for Representative Button’s re-election campaign, and encouraged the voters of north Texas to send her back to Austin so she can continue to produce results that better the lives of all Texans.

“Representative Button is a go-getter who fights tirelessly on behalf of north Texans, and that is why I’m proud to support her for re-election,” said Governor Abbott. “Representative Button’s dynamic leadership was crucial to provide property tax relief, reform school finance, and reduce the rape kit backlog in Texas.
