AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today endorsed Ben Leman for re-election as State Representative of House District 13. A champion of property tax reform, improving public education, and defending life, Representative Leman cemented himself as a principled conservative leader during the 86th Legislative Session. Additionally, Representative Leman fought to protect the privacy of Texans by authoring legislation to crack down on deceptive calls from telemarketers. Governor Abbott is proud to endorse Representative Leman for re-election, and is grateful for his dedication to putting Texans first.
“The successes of this legislative session would not have been possible without Representative Leman’s commitment to putting Texans first,” said Governor Abbott. “I am especially grateful for Representative Leman’s hard work to reform property taxes, improve public education, and protect the privacy of Texans. I urge the people of House District 13 to join me in supporting Representative Leman for re-election.”
House District 13 encompasses the counties of Austin, Burleson, Colorado, Fayette, Grimes, Lavaca, and Washington.
