AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today endorsed Cody Vasut for Texas House District 25. A former member of Angleton City Council and lifelong resident of Brazoria County, Vasut has a keen understanding of the issues that matter most to the Gulf Coast. Vasut has worked as an Associate Attorney in Houston for the past seven years and graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian from the University of Houston Law Center with a Juris Doctorate. Vasut’s fiscally responsible record and commitment to conservative values make him the ideal candidate to represent House District 25 in the Legislature.
