Governor Abbott Endorses Dawn Buckingham For Texas Land Commissioner

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott announced today that he is endorsing Dawn Buckingham for Texas Land Commissioner. A lifelong conservative advocate, Buckingham has served as State Senator from District 24 since 2017.

“I am proud to endorse Dr. Dawn Buckingham to become Texas’ first female Land Commissioner. Dawn is a fighter who will keep our communities safe, unleash Texas oil and natural gas, and protect funding for public education. We need Dawn Buckingham, and I ask you to join me in supporting her,” said Governor Abbott.
