AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he is endorsing Dr. Greg Bonnen for House District 24.
“Dr. Bonnen is a stalwart of conservative leadership who has helped secure countless victories for Texans in House District 24,” said Governor Abbott. “As Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, he’s been instrumental to provide the necessary funds to secure our border and for the ongoing construction of Texas’ border wall. Dr. Bonnen also played an integral role to help deliver the largest property tax cut in Texas history, putting over $18 billion back into the pockets of Texas taxpayers. I need Dr. Bonnen back in Austin to finish the fight for school choice in Texas, and I encourage all Texans in House District 24 to join me in supporting him for re-election this spring.”
