AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today endorsed Drew Darby for re-election as State Representative of House District 72. In making his endorsement, Governor Abbott urged the voters of House District 72 to send Representative Darby back to Austin to fight alongside him to lower property taxes, reform our broken school finance system and continue fighting to protect the most vulnerable among us – the unborn.
“The next legislative session presents an opportunity to lower Texans’ property taxes, reform our broken school finance system and further protect life,” said Governor Abbott. “As an experienced legislator, Representative Darby has a deep understanding of these issues and will play a key role in helping accomplish these goals.
