AUSTIN –  Governor Greg Abbott today endorsed Jack Wilson for Hood County Commissioner Precinct 3. Wilson is a small business owner and the recipient of the Governor’s Medal of Courage for his heroic actions during the shooting at West Freeway Church of Christ in 2019. The Governor is grateful for Wilson’s dedication to his community and conservative values, and urges Texans in Hood County to support Wilson for Commissioner.

“I am proud to endorse Jack Wilson for Hood County Commissioner,” said Governor Abbott. “Jack is a true Texas hero and he cares deeply about the issues affecting his community. Jack will serve the people of Hood County with integrity, and I look forward to working with him to build an even brighter future for the Lone Star State.”
