AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today endorsed Kathaleen Wall to represent the people of Congressional District 2 in Washington, D.C. Kathaleen is a sixth generation Texan who was born and raised in Centerville, Texas. She is a long-time conservative activist who has worked to elect Governor Greg Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Ted Poe. Kathaleen has been endorsed by multiple pro-life organizations, as well as the Kingwood Tea Party and dozens of local GOP precinct chairs. Today’s endorsement by the governor marks his second Congressional endorsement. In 2017, the governor endorsed Van Taylor in Congressional District 3.

“Kathaleen Wall has been a champion for the conservative cause for many years,” said Governor Abbott. “From fighting for the unborn, to working to secure our border, to helping the greater Houston area recover from Hurricane Harvey, I have complete trust in Kathaleen to get the job done in Washington. I am proud to endorse Kathaleen Wall for Congressional District 2.”
