AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he is endorsing Marquis Cantu for Llano County Sheriff.
“Throughout his extensive law enforcement career, Marquis Cantu has proven to be tough on crime and remained dedicated to upholding the laws of our great state,” said Governor Abbott. “As a former Texas Ranger, he has the training and skillset necessary to make Llano County a safer place to live, work, and raise a family. Marquis will lead the Llano County Sheriff’s Office into a brighter future, and I am proud to endorse Marquis Cantu for Llano County Sheriff.”
