AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he is endorsing Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson for re-election.
“Throughout his extensive law enforcement career, Sheriff Rand Henderson’s tough-on-crime policies make him the right candidate to continue serving as Montgomery County’s sheriff,” said Governor Abbott. “He has worked tirelessly to crack down on drug and human smuggling, keep dangerous criminals behind bars, and ensure Texans in Montgomery County are safe. I am proud to endorse Sheriff Rand Henderson, and I urge all Texans in Montgomery County to join me in supporting him for re-election.”
