AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today endorsed Senator Lois Kolkhorst for re-election. Senator Kolkhorst worked hard to secure school finance and property tax reform this session, and played a pivotal role in the passage of disaster relief. Governor Abbott is grateful to have Senator Kolkhorst’s conservative leadership in the Texas Senate.

Senator Kolkhorst represents District 18 which includes the counties of Aransas, Austin, Burleson, Calhoun, Colorado, DeWitt, Fayette, Fort Bend, Goliad, Gonzales, Harris, Jackson, Lavaca, Lee, Matagorda, Nueces, Refugio, Victoria, Waller, Washington, and Wharton.
