HOUSTON – Governor Greg Abbott continued his “Let’s Roll” Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) tour in Houston, reaching voters in Harris County at Don Ramon’s Mexican Restaurant. The Governor was joined by Representative Valoree Swanson and Republican candidate for House District 126 Stan Stanart.
“When it mattered most, Gina Hinojosa failed to represent Texans,” said Governor Abbott. “Jocelyn’s Law, which would have denied bail for illegal immigrants charged with violent crimes, did not become law because of Democrats like Gina Hinojosa. When she failed to appear for the final vote, she proved her disregard for our safety. Texans expect a leader who will protect them, not one who sides with criminal illegals over Texas communities.”
