DEER PARK – Governor Greg Abbott today fired up voters at a Get Out the Vote event in Deer Park. The Governor called on Republicans to turn out early and vote up and down the ballot in the May runoff elections.
“Early voting is underway, and every Texan who wants to keep Texas strong and moving in the right direction must make their voice heard in this May runoff election,” Governor Abbott said. “The time to get involved is now. Elections are decided by those who show up, and every vote matters. There is nobody better equipped to be the voice of Texans in Washington than Briscoe Cain. I’ve worked alongside him, I’ve seen him deliver results, and I know he will fight to get things done for Deer Park, Texas, and America. Every Republican must get out and vote.”
Governor Abbott highlighted the importance of electing conservative leaders who will continue fighting to strengthen the economy, secure the border, and defend the values that make Texas the nation’s economic powerhouse. The Governor also emphasized his five-point property tax relief plan and four new public safety initiatives aimed at cracking down on violent criminal illegal immigrants and keeping dangerous criminals behind bars.
The Governor was joined by candidate for Congressional District 9 Briscoe Cain, candidate for House District 126 Stan Stanart, and candidates for re-election: Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Jim Wright and Harris County Republican Party Chair Cindy Siegel.
