MONTGOMERY – Governor Greg Abbott today continued his “Let’s Roll” Get-Out-The-Vote tour in Montgomery, visiting the Old Montgomery Steakhouse. The Governor was joined by Senator Brett Ligon, Representative Will Metcalf, Republican candidate for House District 3 Kristen Plaisance, and Republican candidate for House District 15 Brad Bailey.
“Gina Hinojosa believes that hardworking Texans should give up more of their paychecks to the government,” said Governor Abbott. “She supported the creation of a state income tax, voted to increase property taxes 40 times, and voted to tax inheritance. Gina can try to run from her record, but Texans know the truth: she’d rather see your money in the hands of government than in your own pocket.”
Early Voting Information
Early voting is underway. Texans can find their closest polling location, hours of operation, and sample ballots by visiting VoteTexas.gov or their county election website. Voters are encouraged to cast their ballots early to avoid lines on Election Day and ensure their voices are heard.
