AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today launched a new digital ad in support of Proposition B, which would restore city-wide laws that ban public camping and panhandling in Austin. The ad notes that ever since the City of Austin rescinded the ban in 2019, homelessness has become out of control and citizens no longer feel safe in the city. The ad urges Austinites to join Governor Abbott in voting YES on Proposition B.

Early voting in Travis County begins April 19th and ends on April 27th. Election day is May 1st.
