AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today released a web video wishing a happy Easter to people across the state of Texas.
TRANSCRIPT: This is Governor Greg Abbott. I want to wish all of you a very blessed Easter. I know that for many of us Easter feels different this year. Different because Texans continue to stay at home and to avoid large gathering due to COVID-19. These are indeed challenging times. But it is especially during times like these that we must find strength in our faith. Together, we will make it through this challenge. On this Easter Sunday, let us find time to celebrate the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And let us all embrace the hope that Easter Sunday brings. May God bless you all, and may God forever bless the great state of Texas.
