AUSTIN – Texas Governor-elect Greg Abbott met this afternoon with Lieutenant Governor-elect Dan Patrick to discuss the transition process and priorities for the upcoming legislative session. Today’s meeting is the latest of several conversations that have taken place between Abbott and Patrick since winning their respective elections last Tuesday.
“I look forward to working with Lieutenant Governor-elect Patrick and all elected officials to ensure a smooth transition and a productive start to the legislative session,” said Abbott. “As I said following the election, now is the time to get to work building a better future for all Texans.”
