AUSTIN – Today, Governor Greg Abbott announced his endorsement of Representative Angie Chen Button for re-election to House District 112. Representative Button has served in the Legislature since 2009.
“Representative Button’s story is that of the American dream. Her family escaped communist China. Angie started a life here in Texas, raised a family in Garland, worked hard for many years, and now serves as a committee chair in the Texas House of Representatives. Representative Button is a committed advocate for providing property tax relief to all Texans and has helped me fight the evils of human trafficking along our southern border. I hope everyone in Dallas County will join with me in supporting Representative Button this election,” said Governor Abbott.
