AUSTIN – Today, Governor Greg Abbott announced that he has endorsed Senator Pete Flores for District 24. Flores is the former Senator from District 19 from 2018 to 2021, and is now running for the redrawn District 24. A proven leader in the Texas Senate, Flores is experienced fighting for the heartland of Texas.
“Senator Flores has the experience and tenacity to be a strong advocate for the people in Central Texas. I was happy to work with him when he served District 19, and I’m sure he’ll fight to ensure Texas is the best state to live, work and raise a family. I encourage all the voters in his district to elect Senator Flores,” said Governor Abbott.
