EDINBURG – Today, Governor Greg Abbott’s campaign announced the endorsement of the National Border Patrol Council at a press conference in Edinburg. Governor Abbott joined National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) President Brandon Judd, NBPC Executive Vice President Paul Perez, and other border patrol agents at their local Border Patrol Council office for the announcement.
To coincide with the endorsement, the campaign released a state-wide television commercial entitled, “National Border Patrol Council Endorses Governor Greg Abbott” featuring NBPC President Brandon Judd. The ad includes Judd’s comments on why his National Border Patrol Council is supporting Governor Abbott in this year’s election: “No other Governor has done more to secure the border than Greg Abbott.”
Texans for Greg Abbott also released a state-wide radio ad featuring Judd.
