DALLAS – Governor Greg Abbott today attended the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) 2017 Convention in Dallas, Texas. During the convention, the Governor spoke about the important role of Republican women in the political sphere, as well as the impact of TFRW’s grassroots outreach throughout the state. He also pointed out that TFRW helped him win the women’s vote in 2014 by double digits.

“The Texas Federation of Republican Women is nationally recognized as one of the most active and effective grassroots organizations in the country,” said Governor Abbott. “By knocking on doors, sharing our conservative message, and registering voters, TFRW is continuing to strengthen the Republican Party here in Texas. It was through their hard work that I won the women’s vote by double digits in 2014, and I am confident that their continued partnership with my campaign will yield even better results in 2018.”

Texas Federation of Republican Women is an organization that provides the structure, support, and resources for female political activists to shape policy, train candidates, and elect strong leaders throughout Texas.
