Greg Abbott and the Texas Attorney General’s Office obtained a temporary restraining order against two Hidalgo County developers after uncovering deplorable living conditions.

Abbott’s office said Wednesday that [the developers] illegally broke up two residential lots[,] leased a home and placed up to 10 mobile home units on the property. The housing units lacked basic infrastructure and were leased under oral, month-to-month agreements.
