Greg Abbott Speaks with Educators in Fort Worth, Receives Endorsement from Mayor Betsy Price

FORT WORTH – Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott was in Fort Worth today where he held the sixth in a series of education roundtables. Abbott, joined by Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, Senator Kelly Hancock and North Richland Hills Mayor Oscar Trevino, met with educators and administrators at the Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning to discuss the merits of digital learning in the classroom.

Following the event, Mayor Price announced her endorsement of Greg Abbott for Governor. “I’m honored to endorse my friend and fellow Texan, Greg Abbott, for Governor of our great state. This election is about education, transportation and the future of our economy. It’s a remarkably critical time for Texas as we work to keep pace with the extraordinary growth. We simply must have a proven leader with true conservative values to keep Texas moving forward. I believe Greg Abbott is the leader we need in the Governor’s office.”

“I want to thank the Mayor for her powerful endorsement and also thank her for the leadership that she provides the great city of Fort Worth,” Abbott said. “We are working side by side to achieve common goals for the state of Texas. I want to ensure Texas is number one in the nation not just for jobs, but also for education.”
