AUSTIN – Due to inclement weather, Governor Greg Abbott will be unable to travel to and attend Mayes Middleton’s get out the vote rally in Galveston this evening. The GOTV rally remains scheduled as planned at Katie’s Seafood at 5:00p.m., and Governor Abbott will call into the event to offer his full support for Mayes Middleton and encourage voters to get out and vote in the upcoming primary election.
“Mayes Middleton will work with me to rein in property taxes, limit government spending and fight for conservative principles in the Texas House,” said Governor Abbott. “The voters of House District 23 can count on Mayes to represent their values in Austin, and I urge them to do their part and vote for Mayes Middleton in the primary election.”
