AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today received the endorsement of the Kingwood Tea Party, a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting limited government, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and constitutional principles. This endorsement underscores growing support for Governor Abbott’s conservative leadership and his continued commitment to protecting Texas values.
“I am grateful for the endorsement of the Kingwood Tea Party and the principled Texans they represent,” said Governor Abbott. “Together, we will continue to defend our freedoms, hold fast to the Constitution, and ensure Texas remains the best place in the nation to live, work, and raise a family.”
“Kingwood TEA Party is proud to endorse Greg Abbott for Governor of Texas,” said Kingwood Tea Party co-founder Jim Lennon. “Greg Abbott has evolved from Texas Attorney General into the superhero Republican Texas Governor he is today. Our admiration for what Governor Abbott has accomplished since 2014 for Texas, which is worthy of several volumes by Robert Caro, is only exceeded by our respect for Greg Abbott himself.”
The Kingwood Tea Party is a leading grassroots voice for conservative Texans in the greater Houston area, advocating for policies that strengthen families, protect taxpayers, and uphold the Constitution. The organization is known for engaging and mobilizing local citizens around issues such as election integrity, fiscal discipline, public safety, and limited government. Governor Abbott has consistently championed these shared priorities, delivering results that reflect the values of hardworking Texans and reinforcing Texas’ position as a national leader in freedom, economic opportunity, and public safety.
