On the Path to Prosperity

Governor Abbott’s leadership has kept Texas on the path to prosperity. During his first term, Texas has added more than 500,000 jobs and the unemployment rate fell to its lowest point in a decade. In October, Texas added more jobs than any other state. The Texas model is proof that limited government secures economic liberty and encourages unlimited opportunity for business growth and job creation.

Our pro-growth economic policies help free enterprise flourish and attract business to Texas from states that overtax and overregulate. Since Governor Abbott took office in 2015, companies like Boeing, Hulu, Toyota, and numerous others have recognized the Lone Star State is a premiere place for business expansion and enterprise.

Because of our high-skilled workforce and robust infrastructure, companies are also actively expanding within our state. After experiencing our economic policies, Brakebrush Brothers, Inc. is expanding its operations and advancing its workforce in Texas. Citing our business-friendly economic and cultural environment, Jacobs Engineering recently relocated its headquarters from Pasadena, California to Dallas, Texas.

These are a few of the businesses that have relocated or expanded in Texas during Governor Abbott’s first term:
