The state budget has hundreds of dedicated accounts that are supposed to be used for specific purposes like roads and transportation but are instead used as gimmicks to balance the budget. Greg Abbott wants to make sure the taxes, fees and assessments imposed on Texans for these dedicated accounts are used for their intended purposes or returned to the taxpayer.
