Texans for Greg Abbott today announced a robust fundraising period, raising more than $15 million from June 19th to June 30th. During the previous comparable fundraising periods in 2015 and 2019, Texans for Greg Abbott raised over $8.2 million and over $12.1 million, respectively.
“In his first fundraising cycle since being re-elected in November, Governor Abbott received overwhelming support from so many Texans,” said Texans for Greg Abbott Campaign Manager Kim Snyder. “Texans from every corner of the state continue to champion Governor Abbott’s conservative agenda to build a brighter, more prosperous future for Texas.”
“As a longtime grassroots activist, I’m proud to support Governor Greg Abbott,” said south central Texas grassroots leader Ruby Manen. “His tireless work ethic and strong conservative principles have made Texas the shining example of what Republican-led governance can provide.”
“Business leaders all over Texas understand that Governor Abbott puts the success of Texas first,” said business icon Tilman Fertitta. “His policies have brought sustained prosperity to every corner of the state. I will continue to support Governor Abbott to ensure that the Texas of tomorrow continues to be full of the freedom and opportunity that make this state special.”
The over $15 million included donations from more than 5,200 contributors, with more than 94% coming from Texans.
The total cash on hand at the end of June 30th is over $23 million.
